2012: spring patterns

Oh my heavens, the weather is going to be nice soon! Spring might finally show up here in Minnesota. I think these vibrant pattern designs by Ashley G's are just the ticket for some spring sunshine.

HOME: clear desk

For whatever reason, I have been dreaming of having a clear, lucite desk for my workspace... which is imaginary at the moment. But I think we can all agree that it's better to be safe than sorry so I need to be ready should the opportunity for a work space + clear desk knock at my door.

HOME: swissted posters

I am a big fan of swiss design.. clean, minimal, bold. Swissted website is FULL of awesome posters by Mike Joyce.

WORK: logo(s)

Long story short - I work for a medical nonprofit organization that holds (as mentioned in my city by the bay entry) an annual conference for physicians in the fall. Each meeting and all of its materials, and there are many, have a unique identity + logo and since I'm new to the job, this was my first go at branding the entire upcoming conference. In December, I presented two options to my bosses... Yikes. Above you'll see the first identity I presented - this system was the one they chose for the 2012 meeting.
